The spiel
I got this site done just in time for an Irish Times article that featured the web site. The article was about people cutting costs for weddings. Funnily enough, I got a mention in the same article because I bartered web sites for wedding services (photographer, jeweller, chauffeur, hairdresser & cake maker) when I got married.
This was a nice job to work on because I was given an image from the book cover (the shoe) . And right off I had a nice colour scheme everyone was happy with. (It can just as easily go the other way with ugly imagery!)
The Client
Smartbride is a web site that launched alongside a book called "How to have a champagne wedding on a bucks fizz budget". The site continues where the book left off as a forum for people who want to have a great wedding without paying through the nose for it.
