I’ve never heard The Smiths

I know sometimes when a task is at hand, other activities take on a magnetic quality including the TV that you’ve been meaning to turn off – but Nigel Havers has been very entertaining on “I haven’t seen Star Wars yet”, a show where celebrities take on experiences not previously experienced.

  • I can’t believe he hadn’t seen The Simpsons before. He gave it 11 out of 10.
  • I can’t believe he got a tattoo of a scorpion on his arm, in the name of a TV show
  • I can’t believe he never heard of The Smiths and thought they were rubbish. Particularly ripping apart, This charming man
  • I can believe he never had Le Big Mac before

  • I am intrigued by this show, must watch….

  • I’d love to see that programme.

    That clip, just fantastic.

  • Yeah, it’s a great concept. I saw Rory Bremner recently listening to Dark Side of the Moon (appreciated elements), watching Fawlty Towers (hated it) and going to the ballet (loved it). Also caught the end of someone eating roadkill that seemed a little outside of the remit of ‘standard cultural experience’ methinks. I’ve never ever eaten in McDonalds or KFC, never conscioulsy listened to ACDC, haven’t seen Dirty Dancing, hmm, this is a good game!

  • Leeroy, xbox you can see it on bc bt you have to be in the UK.

I like Dave Gorman’s new show Genius, it’s on tonight. Dragn’s den meets Viz top tips.

Dor – can’t believe the Karaoke Queen hasn’t seen Dirty Dancing! It’s my guiltiest of pleasures.

Mine would have to be – never been to a Football match. Oh balls I’d love to sit hear and think of another two but there’s a big pooey nappy with my name on it. To be continued…

  • Hey whataya know it’s on youtube.

Note: I wasn’t bigging this up as the best TV ever. But it did have a far greater allure whenI had a job to o!
